Misisi Project

Tier-1 Gold Opportunity, Targeting Resources of 5+ Moz Au

The Misisi Property hosts the Akyanga Deposit, which contains High Grade Open-Pittable Resources certified in NI 43-101 Technical Reports

Site 1: Akyanga Central (3.1 Moz Au)

Site 2: Akyanga East (0.6 Moz Au, Exploration Target)

  • The Misisi Property also hosts 16 significant Drill-Ready Exploration Targets defined by advanced explorations

  • Previous owners have spent $30 million on the Misisi Property

  • Fully Permitted 30-Year Mining Lease until 2045, covering 55km Long Gold Belt

Location & Infrastructure

Project Overview
  • Owned 73.5% by Avanti, 21.9% by China base MMG Ltd and 5% carried interest by the DRC Government

  • Located 250 km south of Bukavu, the provincial capital of South Kivu

  • Three contiguous mining licenses covering 133 km2 of prospective exploration ground along the 55 km long Kibara Gold belt (expiring in 2045)

  • Hosts the Akyanga gold deposit with a 43-101 compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 41 Mt at an average grade of 2.37 g/t containing 3.1 Moz

  • High-grade gold mineralization traced over much of the length of the belt

  • Two significant gold mines located approximately 50 km north of the Akyanga deposit (Twangiza and Namoya)

Robust High Grade Resources

3.1 Moz

An inferred resource of 3.1 Moz grading 2.16 g/t Au at Akyanga based on 500km of trenching and 22,000 m of drilling.

for Expansion

Mineralization resource remains open for expansion both along strike and at depth.

Up to 50% restored with gravity separation, 86% with heap leaching, as well as up to 94% with CIL.

Potential for
Low Strip Ratio

Mineralization in shallowly dipping, continuous quartz veins.

Near-Term Growth Targets

  • Pit Optimization: Incorporating higher metal prices combined with refinement of engineering assumptions allows for the inclusion of mineralized material outside of the current pit shell.

  • Extension Drilling: Mineralization remains open both along strike and down dip.

  • Parallel Mineral Structure: Akyanga East defined by >3km trend with limited drilling.

Resources Infill & Expansion Drilling

Exploration & Resource Expansion Drilling

Budgeted 10,000 metre drill program to commence in Q4/23 Initial phase will focus on expansion of Akyanga Central resource along strike and down-dip, + definition and inclusion of the Akyanga East Deposit in resources.

District-Scale Exploration

Additionally, definition drilling to deliver a maiden resource estimate for Ngalula, Tulonge and Mdende targets.

Project De-Risking

A Preliminary Economic Assessment to incorporate recent drilling planned for H3/23. In 2014, SRK Consulting and MDM Engineering completed a Scoping Study outlining a low-cost, low-strip, conventional open-pit heap-leach operation.
